Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 23, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Economy Media, available at media.joineconomy.org (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Economy Media, [legal operating entity — to be completed] ("Economy Media", "we", "our", or "us").
By accessing or using the Service, connecting a social media account, or publishing content through the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Economy Media. They govern your access to and use of the Service, including any tools we provide to import, edit, and publish your video content to connected social media platforms.
By creating an account, connecting a third-party platform, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Economy Media is a web application that helps creators prepare and distribute short-form and long-form video content across multiple social media platforms from a single place.
Through the Service you can:
- Import or upload a batch of your video clips.
- Crop, reframe, trim, and add text, captions, or overlays to your clips.
- Connect your accounts on supported platforms and publish to several of them at once, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, Twitch, and Snapchat.
- Manage and schedule the content you choose to distribute through the Service.
3. Eligibility and Age
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
Some connected platforms set their own minimum age and eligibility requirements, and those requirements may be higher. You are responsible for meeting the eligibility rules of every platform you connect and publish to. You also represent that you are not barred from using the Service or any connected platform under any applicable law.
4. Accounts and Security
To use most features of the Service you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
5. Connecting Third-Party Social Accounts
The core of the Service is the ability to connect your social media accounts and publish content to them on your behalf. When you connect a platform such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, Twitch, or Snapchat through OAuth or a similar authorization flow, you authorize Economy Media to access that account and to create, upload, schedule, and publish content to it according to the actions you initiate within the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish through the Service and for ensuring that each post complies with the terms, policies, and community guidelines of every platform you publish to. For example, when publishing to TikTok you must comply with TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Music Usage Confirmation, and Branded Content Policy, and you must accurately disclose commercial or branded content where required. Similar obligations apply to every other connected platform.
You can disconnect any connected account at any time through the Service or through the connected platform's own settings. Disconnecting an account revokes our authorization to act on that account going forward, although it does not retroactively remove content you have already published.
- You authorize us to publish, schedule, and manage content on your connected accounts based on the actions you take in the Service.
- You must comply with the terms, policies, and community guidelines of each connected platform, including TikTok's, at all times.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of every post, including any required commercial or branded-content disclosures.
- You may disconnect any account at any time, which revokes our access to that account going forward.
- We may suspend or remove a connection if a platform requires it or if we reasonably believe it is being misused.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully, responsibly, and only for purposes permitted by these Terms and by every connected platform. You are responsible for all content you import, create, edit, or publish through the Service.
- Do not publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.
- Do not publish content that you do not have the rights to use, including video, music, images, or text owned by others.
- Do not use the Service to send spam, run deceptive or coordinated inauthentic campaigns, or artificially inflate engagement.
- Do not abuse automation, exceed platform rate limits, or attempt to bypass the posting, privacy, or eligibility controls of any connected platform.
- Do not attempt to access, reverse engineer, decompile, disrupt, or interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or other users.
- Do not use the Service to violate the terms, policies, or community guidelines of any connected platform, or any applicable law.
- Do not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
7. Your Content and License to Us
You retain all ownership rights in the video clips, captions, text, images, and other materials you import into or create through the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
To operate the Service, you grant Economy Media a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, modify (for example, to crop, reframe, transcode, or add captions you request), and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service and publishing Your Content to the platforms you choose. This license exists only to deliver the Service to you and ends with respect to new processing when you remove Your Content or close your account, subject to reasonable backup retention and the rules of the platforms where you have already published.
You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions necessary to use Your Content and to authorize us to process and publish it, including any rights in music, footage, trademarks, likenesses, or other third-party materials it contains.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service itself, including its software, design, user interface, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (but excluding Your Content and third-party platform materials), is owned by Economy Media or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose in accordance with these Terms. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission.
9. Third-Party Services and Platforms
The Service integrates with third-party platforms and services, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, Twitch, and Snapchat. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, and your relationship with each platform is between you and that platform.
We do not control and are not responsible for the actions, availability, policies, content moderation decisions, or changes made by any third-party platform. A platform may change, restrict, or remove its integration, reject or remove content, or limit posting at any time, and such changes may affect your ability to publish through the Service. We are not liable for any loss arising from a third-party platform's conduct or unavailability.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that content will be successfully published to any platform, or that any specific results, reach, or engagement will be achieved. You use the Service at your own risk and remain responsible for the content you publish.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Economy Media and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, the conduct of any third-party platform, or any content published through the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Economy Media and its officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any connected platform's terms or policies, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
13. Copyright and DMCA Policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect you to do the same. If you believe content published or processed through the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to our designated agent that includes the information required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), including identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a good-faith statement, a statement that the information is accurate, and your physical or electronic signature.
If your content was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent containing the information required by the DMCA. We may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Designated copyright agent: [DMCA designated agent name and address — to be completed]. Notices may also be sent to [email protected].
14. Termination and Suspension
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if a connected platform requires it, if we reasonably believe your use creates risk or legal exposure, or for operational reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including those covering Your Content license already granted, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law, will continue to apply.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of [State — to be completed], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
You agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us at [email protected]. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [venue — to be completed], unless otherwise required by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service and may disconnect your accounts.
